5. Office Furniture: Innovative furniture range proves a magnet for ProCo

Brief: As part of a major expansion programme, leading print and design company ProCo have refurbished a 50,000sq ft. factory and office complex. To complement their corporate vision they were looking for a radical and vibrant look for their office furniture and workspace, to incorporate substantial document storage (but without the traditional grey filing cabinets!)
Specification: After several meetings to explore the scope and vision of the project together with a full site survey we produced a range of space planning options to allow our client to visualise the best use of the space available. This resulted in the selection of an innovative new range of office furniture incorporating the latest in modern aesthetic and ergonomic design, with magnetically-attached work surfaces adding to the design features. ProCo needed lots of storage space and the chosen layout uses the units in such a way as to form low-level partitioning whilst the vibrant door colours add to the overall room effect.

Zefiro is a modern office furniture system from Alea with a different look and feel incorporating contemporary design features and dimensions. The introduction of flat screen technology minimises the surface area required for each operator and ensures the optimum use of space. Alea have embraced the changing world of business and understand the need for increasingly flexible spaces with furniture that is easy to reconfigure and move. The beams and structural legs connect with simple pins and a patented, innovative magnet system allows the work surface to be fitted to the frame with minimal effort and be easily changed or moved when required. The dividing screens and cupboard fronts have a brushed metallic finish in a colour combination of burnt orange and green.
